Mrs. Cathy Waggoner


Mrs. Waggoner was elected  to represent Ward Four on the Union City Board of Education in 2008.  

Mrs. Waggoner and her husband, Ronnie, are the parents of three adult children, all graduates of  the Union City School System.  They are also proud grandparents.

She is a 1970 graduate of  Union City High School and a 1973 graduate of the
University of Tennessee at Martin,with a B.S. in Education.  She holds certification in physical education, health, and elementary education.

Mrs. Waggoner was long-time Director of the Kare Bear Program at the First Baptist Church in Union City.  She is now serving as director of the Promethean Pre-School Project for Obion County.  

Mrs. Waggoner  is a member of North West Association for the Education of Young  Children.  She has served on various committees for Northwest Tennessee conferences.

She is an active member of the First Baptist Church where she teaches
adult Sunday School and Preschool Choir.
